The Cure

The Cure

Builds a small army, then does the killing himself.

Also known as SCP-049, the Plague Doctor · SCP Foundation

Price: 15,000 Screws Speed: 112.5% · 19.125 studs/s Intent radius: 100 studs

S Where it sitsWins the most, for the least effort

Believing the world is infected by a disease only he can see, he experiments on anyone he judges to be sick and brings his cured patients back as quiet, empty servants. He has his own map: Site 68.

Power

Elucidation

Equips a bottle. Hold to charge and throw a flask that creates a cloud of Pestilence, slowing survivors up to 35% and applying Pestilence to anyone caught. Cooldown 15 seconds. Each infected survivor gives him 5% break and vault speed. Pestilence clears itself after 90 seconds.

I Am The Cure

A syringe to inject downed survivors or corpses, once per spike stage. The first spike grants a charge to turn a corpse into SCP-049-2; after that two spikes are needed per charge. Zombies move at 9 studs per second, rising to 13 chasing an infected survivor, apply Pestilence or damage, can be killed by most stuns, and cap at four. Two charges plus a death hook allow a mini-mori, killing without a spike.

Personal perks

Foundation Staff Level 15

When a survivor unspikes another or themselves, they get a 20 / 30 / 40% reduction to healing speed for 45 seconds, and the unspiked survivor suffers a 15% repair penalty until healed.

Sustenance Level 30

Spiking a survivor banks a token. Breaking a pallet spends one to slow survivors inside your intent radius by 10% for 4 / 5 / 6 seconds and apply Silenced for 25 / 30 / 35 seconds.

Desire For The Living Level 45

When a survivor sees your aura, you see theirs, and every speed boost you gain reveals your aura to the nearest survivor for 3 seconds. Cooldown 40 / 30 / 20 seconds.

How to play it

Play him as a snowball control killer: spread Pestilence, stack spikes, use injection charges, and let the zombies make the map unsafe. Throw the flask at the survivor's next path, pallets, windows, corners, rather than at their feet, and break pallets freely because Elucidation and Sustenance pay you back. If you miss the early spikes you miss the whole plan, so do not overcommit to one chase.

How to beat it

Treat every Pestilence cloud as off limits and rotate early. Kill the zombies with stuns, but remember most stuns have a downside, pallets and Twist of Fate included. Do not feed infected survivors, because they are his speed. Protect anyone who has been spiked twice: they are one injection away from becoming a zombie, so body block for them.

Where it sits

Wins the most, for the least effort

The only killer who grows during the round. Pestilence slows up to 35%, each infected survivor hands him 5% break and vault speed, the zombies hold generators without being told to, and two injection charges plus a death hook ends a survivor with no spike at all.
