B Where it sitsPlayable and fair, with a hole you can see from orbit

A relentless force who leaves no escape for those who stand in his way. His perks carry survivors faster, break pallets faster and move him quickly around the map when nobody is watching.

Power

Lake of Mist

Fades into the mist: 80% translucence, large Haste and full Stealth, lingering 4 seconds after decloaking. A global audio cue plays on activation. Cooldown 30 seconds. Decloaking applies heavy Hindrance with 1.9 seconds of end lag, and vaulting, destruction and attacking are disabled while it is active.

Pursuit

Unleashes his fury: Haste, and touching a dropped pallet destroys it instantly. Breaking a pallet during Pursuit applies heavy Hindrance for a moment. Cooldown 60 seconds, and the screen tints red.

Personal perks

Excitement Level 15

Picking up a survivor grants 10 / 15 / 20% Haste while carrying, at the cost of a 36-stud increase to killer aura.

Brutal Strength Level 30

Kicking pallets and generators is 20 / 30 / 40% faster.

Offscreen Scare Level 45

Out of chase, 6 / 8 / 10% speed. Deactivates if a survivor is within 50 studs.

How to play it

Open with Lake of Mist to reach survivor spawns before they spread out. Patrol generators while cloaked, you are fast and undetectable, so you will find someone who let their guard down. Uncloak behind a wall to ambush, and save Pursuit for the moment a survivor has no option but to drop a pallet. In small loops, skip the vault and go the other way around instead; you lose less distance.

How to beat it

Use the Motion Tracker, it sees through Lake of Mist. When he reappears he is slowed, so run for the nearest pallet. Vault spots waste his Pursuit, because his vault speed does not increase. He is slowed by 50% after breaking a pallet mid-Pursuit. Never fail a skill check; a cloaked Slasher patrols straight to the noise.

Where it sits

Playable and fair, with a hole you can see from orbit

Free, fast to learn and Pursuit deletes a dropped pallet on contact. What holds him back is telegraphing: every activation plays a global sound cue, and the decloak leaves him standing still for 1.9 seconds.
